“JOYFERM BIOTECH” is the first commercial liquid yeast bank in China with government permission.

The joyferm team members are composed of microbiology experts, software engineers, quality control experts , and professional brewers.

In 2021
“JOYFERM LABS” exclusively launched JFA1036, a liquid yeast specially for commercial brewing of Hazy IPA. It has been highly praised and sold well across the country, thus setting off a wave of brewing Hazy IPA across the country.

In 2022
“JOYFERM LABS” has launched a series of special liquid yeasts such as JFA1410, JFA1420, JFA1270 for wheat white beer with features of “lower cost”, “faster fermentation”, “higher activity” and “stronger flavor”, as well as JFA1401 and JFA1535 for barley yellow beer and JFL2215. These have successfully helped large and medium-sized domestic breweries upgrade the flavors of products such as German classic wheat white beer and Belgian wheat white beer, greatly enhancing the market share of customers.

In 2023
joyferm has increased capital investment by more than ten million yuan and moved into a new factory. here,The 100,000-level sterile laboratory environment and the 2.5-ton-level active yeast cell propagation system have been newly completed . now joyferm production capacity can cover more than 50% of the national-wide craft brewery requirements and provide customized yeast services.

In 2024
The three years of the epidemic officially ended. However, these were three years of rapid fermentation in China’s craft brewing industry. From Beijing to Guangzhou, a large number of new local brewing brands have emerged in almost every city. New craft beer bars on the streets and alleys are emerging in an endless stream. Hazy IPA, English bitter beer, and Kölsch beer. These once unfamiliar but delicious and fresh classic style craft beers are increasingly favored by craft beer fans due to the popularity of joyferm yeast.
